structural alignment healing rolfingBorn into a family of medical doctors and scientists, Stephanie grew up with a commitment to service and community health. A former Ivy-League champion women’s soccer player at Dartmouth College, Stephanie’s athletic training fueled her inquiry into what allows the body to move, heal and thrive. Her quest for optimal health led her to become a certified Hatha Yoga Instructor and attain National Certification in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. Before becoming a Structural Integration practitioner, Stephanie received training in therapeutic yoga, Egoscue™ postural alignment; Continuum™ movement; Somatics; Sensory Repatterning; Watsu, Biodynamic Cranial Sacral therapy; colon hydrotherapy; Visceral Manipulation, David Elliott’s healing breathwork, meditation and mindfulness practices.

Structural Integration is the foundation for her bodywork and movement. She has received training from both the New School for Structural Integration and Judith Aston.

From Robert Tennyson Stevens she learned how to facilitate people from their presumed “weaknesses” into the “return of their strengths” - through advanced outcome facilitation, body language reading, and bio-optic holography (eye analysis) techniques.

Her diverse background and wealth of knowledge in adjunctive therapies is a resource for her clients in their path to radiant health and vitality. Beyond her training, Stephanie brings a true passion and spiritedness to her work and her connection with clients.

“My goal is for people to know, feel and live radiant health through personal experience,” says Stephanie. "Alignment First centers on the premise that your body has the innate potential and capacity to heal and thrive to the extent you are in alignment.”
